Migratory birds (ducks, geese, doves) require federal duck stamp plus state license. Endangered species federally protected. Interstate transport laws apply.

Endangered Species Act protects listed species nationwide. Lacey Act prohibits interstate transport of illegally taken wildlife. National parks: hunting generally prohibited. National forests: follow state regulations. National wildlife refuges: some allow hunting with special permits.
