Kentucky Fishing & Hunting License
Kentucky requires license for both. Trout permit extra. Deer and turkey permits included with sportsman's license. Elk by draw only.
FISHING: License required age 16+ ($24.31 resident, $58.14 non-resident). Trout permit for designated waters. HUNTING: License required ($28.54 resident, $169.12 non-resident). Deer permit ($37) and turkey permit ($31.71) separate. ELK: Kentucky has restored elk herd - hunt permits ONLY by draw (highly competitive). Hunter education required. KRS 150.170.
