Maryland legalized recreational cannabis in 2022 (Question 4), effective July 1, 2023. Adults 21+ may possess up to 1.5 oz of cannabis flower (or up to 12 g of concentrate / 750 mg THC in products; Maryland sets no larger at-home allowance) and cultivate up to 2 plants at home. PUBLIC CONSUMPTION PROHIBITED - civil citation, $50 fine. Using while driving is misdemeanor. Expungement of prior convictions available. Md. Criminal Law Code §5-101.
