Maryland requires registration to fly in State Parks. Much of the state is in DC SFRA/FRZ buffer zone - requires authorization. Baltimore cannot enact its own drone ordinance — Md. Code, Economic Development §14-301 gives the State exclusive authority to regulate drones and expressly supersedes/preempts any existing county or municipal drone ordinance. Assateague Island NS prohibits drones. Cannot fly over correctional facilities. Annapolis and Naval Academy areas restricted.
