Arizona (ARS 13-3102): carrying a deadly weapon is a class 1 misdemeanor at a polling place on election day (A.11) and on school grounds (A.12, felony if drug/gang-connected), a class 4 felony in nuclear or hydroelectric generating stations (A.13), and a class 1 misdemeanor if you refuse an operator's request to store your weapon at a government-operated 'public establishment' or permitted public event (A.10); a posted ARS 4-229 sign bars firearms at bars/restaurants licensed for on-site alcohol (with affirmative defenses for out-of-state visitors and missing/new signs) - beyond these, Arizona has no state ban for permit holders in unposted bars, hospitals, churches, or casinos.

No-Firearms Signs - Force of Law at Posted Liquor Establishments

Arizona is mixed: at a bar or restaurant (on-sale liquor licensee) that posts a compliant A.R.S. § 4-229 sign, carrying a firearm onto the premises is itself an offense (class 3 misdemeanor, A.R.S. § 4-246(C)); on other private property a posted sign can constitute the 'reasonable notice prohibiting entry' that makes entry alone criminal trespass in the third degree (A.R.S. § 13-1502, class 3 misdemeanor); at government-operated establishments and permitted public events the offense arises only after refusing a request to store the weapon (A.R.S. § 13-3102(A)(10), class 1 misdemeanor).
