Colorado Fireworks Laws
Colorado allows only ground-based fireworks. Aerial fireworks banned statewide. Many areas have additional restrictions.
Colorado BANS aerial fireworks (rockets, mortars, Roman candles). Only ground-based fireworks (fountains, sparklers, etc.) legal. Many counties and cities have stricter bans - Boulder, Denver restrict to sparklers only. Fire restrictions may ban all fireworks. C.R.S. §24-33.5-2001 et seq. (Colorado's fireworks statute was recodified from Title 12 to Title 24, Article 33.5, Part 20).
